Premiers

The Premiers are dedicated and cooperative members who are fifty years or older and are always willing to assist with any church ministry outreach. They are caring members who seek to encourage, help, and befriend other Premiers of the church through share-a-ride, send-a-card, and visit-a-home programs. They are honored to help with the preparing of communion and to assist candidates during baptismal services. They sponsor an annual Christmas project that gives gifts for over eighty persons who are being ministered to by the Shelter Outreach Ministry.

Senior Citizens Outreach

The Senior Citizens Outreach Ministry has four teams of dedicated members who reach out to seniors in four of the senior citizens facilities in the surrounding areas. Each of the four teams take turns serving on Sundays. The team on duty meets 90 minutes before service to pray together before boarding the church bus to pick up the Seniors for the church service. They sit with the seniors during the entire service and join them for dinner at the church. Afterwards the seniors are returned to their apartments. The team members do a follow-up weekly to pray with and invite them to church the following Sunday. The goal for this ministry is to reach out to senior citizens facilities with the love of God.
